You made it, Mike

Today we say farewell to Micheal “Grim” Wince as he moves on up to join the legendary Team Liquid roster.

Grim has been with us since our second North American roster, becoming an integral part of our team, both on the playing field and off it. He even received notoriety lately as a stand out rifler, being the #1 ranked on HLTV for a period of time. With him, we have performed at some of the highest tiers of competitive counterstrike, Road to Rio, Blast Premier and cs_summit all in the space of just under a month.

“It’s never easy to lose such a great player, but it is even harder to lose a friend. Mike was the centerpiece of our CS team this past year and we are so thankful for everything he has done under our banner. I know that in a short time, he will prove himself as one of the best players in the world on Liquid. I wish him nothing but success.”

A throwback to Grim’s debut under the Triumph name

Definitely going to miss Mike, he was a pleasure to work with, both because of his immense talent and great attitude. I know he’s going to do great, and wish him all the best going forward in his career!”

Marcos Castilho – CS:GO Head Coach

Michael will be playing with us one last time during the Esea S33 NA Premier Finals, where we play Team One Esports for a shot at a spot in the ESL Pro League. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors, and we can’t wait to see him soar.
