Superstar Sniper Junior

Today we bid farewell to Paytyn “Junior” Johnson as he leaves Triumph CS:GO to join Brazilian super-team Furia.

Our Superstar Sniper has been getting more and more attention lately, and with his AWPing skills being known as a force to be reckoned with, it’s no surprise that we see him moving up to new heights.

Working with Paytyn for the past seven to eight months has been a pleasure. Watching both his professional and personal growth has been incredible, and I’m glad I was along for the ride. I have no doubt given his work ethic and winning attitude he’ll smoothly adapt and do great things over at the FURIA camp. Thank you for everything, friend!

–Marcos “Tacitus” Castilho, CS:GO Triumph Coach

We’re very thankful for our time with Paytyn in 2020. He grew quickly as a player and as a professional. There are very few high-level AWP players in NA today, and I’ve believed for a while now that Paytyn has all the skill and drive necessary to become the best.

I wish him the best of luck on Furia. I hope that the fans will give him love and respect from Day 1.

– Shawn Bischoff, General Manager of Triumph

It’s been an amazing 9 months, Junior and we can’t thank you enough. Through all our roster changes, you stood out as a bright star in NA. We’re eager to see what you can accomplish on Furia!
